Freedom Of Speech

' Shakespeare's Philosophy' by Colin McGinn. It's doubtful that anyone who has an enduring interest in Shakespeare and his plays would doubt that the Bard was of a philosophical bent. In fact, the eBook is much like one would expect from a serious philosopher. He opens with a chapter on the themes he is going to pursue, outlining his ideas and defining his terms. He follows with chapters on six major plays (Midsummer, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, Lear and The Tempest). Then, he offers four chapters on general topics such as gender and ethics. Finally, he wraps things up with an examination of Shakespeare's genius. I liked this eBook very much and hope others will as well.

'AC/DC: Maximum Rock & Roll' by Murray Engleheart. This eBook is a labor of love. Detractors and enemies need not waste their time. For those who value this gutsy loud great rock and roll band, the eBook is a great read, giving U.S. fans particularly a first hand look at the Australian rock culture and the trials and tribulations of the Young brothers. You will read how they climb to the top, lose their charismatic singer Bon Scott, and then come back even more ferociously with the legendary "Back In Black". Full of factoids! Shakespeare's Philosophy eBook edition by McGinn, Colin
Shakespeare's plays are usually studied by literary scholars and historians and the books about him from those perspectives are legion. It is most unusual for a trained philosopher to give us his insight, as Colin McGinn does here, into six of Shakespeare's greatest plays––A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, King Lear, and The Tempest.

Master The Things You Love

'Pro Tools for Musicians and Songwriters' by Gina Fant-Saez. This eBook is great for anyone who wants to get right into protools recording. The hands on examples are excellent and easy to apply to your own music. It is written in a way that makes it easy to understand and apply the concepts. I bought protools 101 too and this eBook covers all if not more of the material in that book in a much more user friendly way with color screen shots that make it easy to follow. I highly reccommend it for anyone interested in digital recording with protools.
'Pencil Sketching' by Thomas C. Wang. So many art books give long-winded descriptions of what to do, and even how to do it, yet they fail to capture the essence of what makes a drawing good. Wang concentrates on simple elements and rules of thumb, providing a wealth of wisdom in a few words and pictures. This eBook show you how to hold a pencil, line, composition, values and shading, etc. The author also leads you through how to make specific elements: landforms, trees, water, and more. And don't forget… Check below for the Coupon Code to receive a Discount on these two eBook Titles. Museum eBook edition
by Danziger, Danny
A unique oral portrait of the Met, drawing on interviews with everyone from the director to the security guards The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the greatest museums in the world. It is an enormous place that takes up five city blocks and has more than two million square feet of space, filled with treasures everywhere the eye can see. There are exquisite vases, jewelry, tapestry, baseball cards, Egyptian mummies, sculptures, and furniture, and many of the most famous and recognized paintings in the world, from Van Gogh to Rembrandt, Monet, and El Greco. But this famous institution, which attracts four million visitors a year, is not just about objects. This is a place that is supported and maintained by people, which is what this wonderful book celebrates. In the fifty-two interviews in Museum, we meet some of the people who have given their lives to making the Met the success that it is. We are introduced to curators with endless knowledge who look after the collections; as well as cleaners; florists; police and security staff who maintain and secure the building; plus the philanthropists and millionaires who donate their money for new and wonderful art works, including well-known people like Henry Kravis and Annette de la Renta. Danziger has a rare touch for getting just the right detail, and these interviews are informative, moving, and compulsively readable. Oral history at its best, Museum will appeal not only to the millions who visit the Met every year, but also to anyone with an interest in museums and art.

Dreaming Out Loud eBook edition
by Feiler, Bruce

Country music has exploded across the U.S. and undergone a sweeping revolution, transforming the once ridiculed world of Nashville into an unlikely focal point of American pop culture. Bruce Feiler was granted unprecedented access to the private moments of the revolution. Here is the acclaimed report: a chronicle of the genre's biggest stars as they change the face of American music.

From the historic stage of the Grand Ole Opry to the dim light of a recording studio, here is a ruggedly authentic behind the scenes tour that takes you places outsiders have never been allowed to go. Part social history, part backstage pass, this penetrating and graceful book presents the most comprehensive portraits yet painted of Garth Brooks and Wynonna Judd-two of the most celebrated artists of our times-as well as a touching picture of Wade Hayes, a young man who hopes to follow them to the exalted heights of one of America's richest traditions: the world of country music.
